LG Electronics has just released the Android 2.1 eclair update for LG Optimus GT540. When it was released, this smartphone was installed with the Android 1.6 donut. With this update, the LG Optimus GT540 will get some improvements such as:
Sharp has recently launched two 3D Android smartphone in Japan. These two smartphones called the Galapagos SoftBank 005SH and Galapagos Softbank 003SH. Both uses 3D LCD screen to create three dimensional effect that can be viewed without the need for special glasses.

Acer’s new Android phone, Acer Liquid Metal appears to have all metal design. The phone is now reported to have be at the FCC right now, so its release would be just a matter of time. Acer Liquid Metal is said going to be released AT&T operator.
