3D Android Smartphones From Sharp: Galapagos Softbank 005SH & Galapagos Softbank 003SH

Sharp has recently launched two 3D Android smartphone in Japan. These two smartphones called the Galapagos SoftBank 005SH and Galapagos Softbank 003SH. Both uses 3D LCD screen to create three dimensional effect that can be viewed without the need for special glasses.

Installed with Android OS 2.2, both smartphones are using 3.8 inch LCD ASV display 800×480 pixelsof resolution, Snapdragon 1 Ghz processor, wifi 802.11 b / g, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, and the microSDHC slot. The differences between these smartphones lies in its camera. Sharp Galapagos 005SH has 8 MP camera and a flip QWERTY keyboard also 4 ways navigation board, while the Galapagos 003SH has 9.6 MP camera.

Both of these phones also getting support from Capcom. There are a variety of 3D games that have been prepared such as Mega Man, Ghosts’ n Goblins: Gold Knights, Resident Evil: Degeneration, plus 7 3D movies including Shrek and Despicable Me.

Sharp Galapagos 003SH will be released in early December, while Galapagos 005SH is scheduled to appear in mid February 2011. No pricing information from both of these smartphones yet.
